about

I promised myself I would never write a 4-chord song... Until now... A true spoof of the genre we know, love, are, and play, "Fine Line," as we often call it, is the most stereotypical, cliched song we could think of. Originally made mostly for fun, but we have really warmed up to it, and genuinely like it now. This song is certainly a bit of an experiment, but we would never put out a song we didn't think our fans would enjoy listening to.

We truly kept this one in-house: Our first fully self-produced single.

lyrics

I know you've heard this song a thousand times
The same 4 chords and the same dumb rhymes
About a girl you love, and someday she'll discover
You're the one, but until then you'll whine

About this stupid town that you hate
Dreaming that someday you'll graduate
And somehow you'll escape, go to do something great
Either move to or from the Golden State

I know you like to think

That you're the only one
Who's even growing up
But I'm so sick and tired
Cliche and uninspired
Yeah I'm so sick and tired of this song
So sing along

Cause you're pathetic in captivity
When all you wanted was some sympathy
You ain't seen nothing yet, the past that you regret
Let's get the hell out of this city

Your good intentions and your plans
Parents and friends, they don't understand
But you are growing now, this ship is going down
I guess it's just another "once again"

I know you like to think

That you're the only one
Who's even growing up
But I'm so sick and tired
Cliche and uninspired
Yeah I'm so sick and tired of this song
So sing along

Whoa!

I know you like to think

That you're the only one
Who's even growing up
But I'm so sick and tired
Cliche and uninspired
Yeah I'm so sick and tired of this song
So sing along
So sing along
But I'm so sick and tired
Cliche and uninspired
Yeah I'm so sick and tired of this song

So sing along
